Lightroom Not Saving All Edits: Recurring and Random

I have a problem with Lightroom that is not related to my version, as it's a recurring bug that has been happening for years and occurs randomly. (Currently on version 8.1)

When I work, I edit photos, delete some, etc. But at some point, Lightroom stops saving my actions.

For example, if I edit 10 photos, close, and reopen the software, it will have only saved the edits for the first 5.

I mainly notice it when deleting a photo:

  • Normally, the photo turns gray and disappears after a few seconds.
  • When the bug occurs, the photo stays gray indefinitely. I can continue editing, but I know that if I close and reopen Lightroom, all subsequent actions will not be saved.

8.2 was released yesterday. Can you replicate the same failure on 8.2 and then collect a diagnostic log for us?

For LrDesktop

Go to Preferences

Account Section

Hold down the [Opt/Alt] key to make the [Diagnostic Log] button appear.

Yesterday, it happened again. I spent an hour on two photos, opened the software this morning, and nothing was saved...

Here is the link to my log. https://cepima.fr/DiagnosticLog.html

What's funny is that if I leave Lightroom open and wait, the bug persists forever. But if I put the software in the background, after a very long time, it eventually unlocks.
