Lightroom Not Showing Which Photos are DNG Files in Grid View

When I used to scroll through my photos in the grid view in Adobe Lightroom, there used to be the letters 'DNG' in the top left corner of each image to indicate which ones were raw files. This was very useful as I had a lot of non raw images imported into my Lightroom photos library.

Then suddenly this stopped hapening. Now, I have no idea which ones are JPEGS and which ones are RAW when I quickly scroll through in grid view.

I know I can turn on the 'image details' settings but that lays text all over the photo and the writing is very small.

Does anyone know why this happened or how to turn this feature back on?

Thanks.

Try tapping on the grid view with 2 fingers until you see the badges show up again.  Two-finger tap lets you cycle through a view different informational overlays.
