Hey, @roberth16509127. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

You'll need macOS 12 as the minimum to install Lightroom 7.0. We provide installers for one previous major version of Lightroom 6, that'll still need macOS 11 as a minimum.

Here are the system requirements for Lightroom 7:https://adobe.ly/3RdtZoT

Lightroom 6: https://adobe.ly/40VsC1w

This should help. Thanks!

My iMac is late 2013 model and now receives no support from Apple and so I can't update from OS Catalina , this means I can't install the latest Lightroom update that's been sitting on my screen for months , basically my Mac is now a Vintage machine and the 2 behemoth companies Apple and Adobe are colluding to try to force me to buy new technology when my old machine works perfectly fine. This is part of the problem we have with climate change no one wants to repair or upgrade its all about growth and spend - it's wrong and I won't support it

I'm signing off from Adobe off to use some of the free open sauce software , there's plenty of it available

thanks for your time
