Lightroom on Android never-ending moving files to SD card, and no option to cancel

Hi,

I ran out of space on my Samsung Android tablet. So I opened the Lightroom settings and chose the SD card for storage. Lightroom immediately went into "Copying to new storage location..." mode, and this is all I see for MORE THAN A WEEK now.

There is no progress indication, just this banal message on a black screen.

There is no option to cancel the process.

And when checking the files and folders there seem to be no activity, and the free storage on the SD card does not change. (And it is a fast Samsung card.)

Is there a way to verify that LR is actually doing something, check the progression of the process, or at least cancel it?

How do I get out of this mess?

Hi i managed to fix this eventually

uninstall the app

install the app

go to apps>lightroom>storage and select SD card and transfer it over

then clear cache

sign in to lightroom

stop the syncing straight away

go to local storage in the app, and change it to SD card.

the app will close, and leave it closed, then clear cache again on apps.

open the app and it should work

I basically tried these steps and that order worked for me.... but let me know, i had absolute hassle and adobe were not great with customer service..
