Lightroom on Android not updating thumbnails

So I'm a long time user of Classic and I'm trying to make use of the cloud features so I can be doing some basic editing and rating of images when I'm not at home. The sync between Classic and Mobile leaves a lot to be desired though! 

Two problems.... First of all, when I edit an album in Lightroom Classic the edits are visible in the gallery thumbnails on LR mobile on some images but not all. I've attached a screenshot showing this, the ones with an overly orange look have not updated. But then when I go into the image it updates to the correct colour balance which shows sync is working from Classic to Mobile.

And then the second problem... well its the same problem really... even after the image has updated to the corrected colour balance when I go back out to the thumbnails it's still showing the orange version! Surely after the image has been forced to sync and the correct version is now on my device the thumbnail should update but sadly, no! 😞

This issue makes it very difficult to organise what I'm doing and see which photos I have worked on particularly as the colour labels I use in Classic are not supported in Mobile for some unfathomable reason.
