Lightroom quitting on import

Question

Hi,

Lightroom is quitting each time I try to import photos. The thumbnails appear, I select them all and click 'import' then after a few seconds it just quits! I have downloaded the updated Creative Cloud App on my iMac and that is telling me that my Lightroom classic is up to date. I can't find another explination.

Any help would be greatfully recieved! Thanks

Sorry that Lightroom is crashing while importing images.

Which version of Lightroom are you using and when exactly does the app crashes and freezes your computer? Does that happen while using a particular tool or feature?

Does the app crashes while importing a specific set of images of file format?

Also, which version of macOS are you running on your iMac?
