Lightroom Running Extremely Slow and Freezing

My lightroom has been running extremely slow and constantly in sync mode after making an version update. I cannot perform normal workflows or complete simple tasks. It freezes while I'm trying to sort through albums, make color and crop changes and rank photos. It's not performing properly. What can I do to resolve?!

Hi @HiJohnnyMichael! 👋 Welcome to the community! Could you let us know which version of Lightroom and operating system you're using? For the sync issue, try logging in to Lightroom Web and check the cloud icon at the top right for any sync errors. Thanks a bunch!
