Lightroom Setup/Windows 10

I am new to Lightroom ~~CC,~~ trying to work with CR3 (raw) files but at 100% so grainy can not make out any details, even at lower percentage, terrible grainy. JPEG show clearly.

What do I need to do to make this workable?

Preferences?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
