Lightroom space

Hi,i have a macbook pro,256GB... Lightroom CC is taking up 100 Gb,which i want to retain... I hears some earsed the CC app,which holds all the 100gb, and just works through creative cloud on the web,instead of usin app... I need the 100gb back for drone stuff.. Thanks PH
