Lightroom storage not corresponding with my actual storage

Hi,

My copy of lightroom is only showing 14GB of locally available storage when I have 358GB of free space on my Mac.

I can't upload any sizeable quantity of photos without fixing this discrepancy but don't know how.

I've deleted my photo library, uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom bt it doesn't seem to make a difference.
