Question

Lightroom Sync

I have been using an additional 1TB of storage alongside my standard 1TB Lightroom Cloud package for several months now. However, whenever I reach 1.05TB, syncing stops, even though the total capacity is shown as 2TB. Dear Adobe Team, why am I paying €11.89 per month for an extra TB if I can only use 50GB of it?

And please, no suggestions about what I can try to reactivate syncing. I’ve tried everything. The issue is clearly that when I reach this limit, Lightroom simply stops syncing!

Apologies to you, this should not be happening.  In looking at your account on our servers, everything seems to correctly show your 2 Tb quota.  Please try logging out of all Creative Cloud apps and log back in next time this occurs.  If that still does not help, please share any errors that you are seeing and include information on the app version and device that you are using.

Thanks Peter! I logged out all apps from all my devices (mac, iphone, ipad) and now imported 20 new dng files into Lightroom (Mac). Since 2 hours there is no process. They are still shown as "Synchronisation wird ausgeführt" (is still running). There are no errors therefore I can not share these. Its just not working .... (20 dngs files, each 70mb, Leica M11).

Apologies for the delayed response.  In looking at the server activity, it seems those photos may now have successfully synced.  Can you confirm?  If so, was there something you needed to do on your side to address this -- would help us with future issues.

Thanks,

Peter
