Lightroom syncing help

I have been working on just Lightroom cloud for the last couple of years and I just downloaded Lightroom classic .  They have been syncing for days now and still going I have lots of photos on the cloud 20,000 to be precise ! However my Lightroom has stopped working altogether I can't see any images on the desktop version I can on my mobile version but my desktop is just the blue ring going round and round I have done everything I can think of. What more can I do? I am on Mac

Click on the cloud in the upper right corner of Lightroom Classic. Then click on the gear icon in the lower right corner of the sync panel. This takes you to the Lightroom Classic sync preferences. Share a screen capture of the preferences window so we can see the sync progress.
