Lightroom to Photoshop and back not responding

Hello, 

I recently updated from a Macbook Pro to an iMac and I am stuggling to figure out why my ability to move from Lightroom to Photoshop isn't working. I used to simply select "edit in photoshop" from Lightroom and hit save when I was done and it would send it right back and now it's not working. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the programs and with no luck. Is there something I am missing or is this a program glitch?
