Lightroom won't load

I tried to import RAW photos into Lightroom the other day and all i got was a blue loading symbol. I have tried two seperate days since and had the same loading symbol and a message pop up when i try to upload saying fatal disk or database and that they couldnt be imported. I have tried unistalling lightroom a few times and have even reset it a few times. My other adobe apps are working so i dont think its an adobe problem or my laptop. Ive seen a few people have similar issues but havent found many solutions or none of them are working. Im not sure if its a syncing problem but since i reset it says no photos.
