Lightroom won't open

Everytime I open the app this is the message I get and all it allows me to do is dimiss the message and then closes the appilcation. My Macbook pro is updated to the latest and I have a subscirption for Adobe.

 

"This is likely an issue at our end, but it could be that you’re not connected to the internet. Please check your internet connection and then try again later. If you’re still having issues, please see our troubleshooting guide."

Hi,

 

We're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom. Would you mind sharing the exact version of Lightroom you're using along with our computers macOS version? Please ensure you are signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app. You can also try signing out of the Creative Cloud app & signing back in to check if that helps.

 

Also, if you have a VPN service you're connected to or an antivirus/firewall, try disabling it to check if it makes a differenc.
