lightroom won´t save edited photos nor will the program close

Hi, I have this weird problem with lightroom, where I save the edited photo and it only shows the original photo. The program will neither close after i have edited a photo, unless I turn off my pc. I can neither see the edited photo if I press photo grid and then back to detail.

I really hope somebody can help
