Limiting visability

I have about 40,000 pictures over a number of years that is now synced with Adobe cloud. I was thinking about setting up Lightroom on a second device that other people will have access to and hopefully collaborate with creating albums, adding titles etc. I do have some older pictures that I would not like to sync or display on this device. Is that possible? Thanks in advance for any help!
