Local Catalog Damaged message

Every time I try to get into adobe lightroom app on my MacBook Pro a msg pops up saying "Local catalog damaged. You can fix this problem by r storing from cloud backup". Which I did all the instructions and still can't get in and keep getting that msg. 
what do I do?!

Which version of Lightroom and macOS are you using? Did it start happening after the application/system update?
