Question

Location data (City, State/Province, Country) lost after export

This is what I do:

1. Add a pict to Lightroom (DNG or jpg) that contains GPS coordinates.
2. Lightroom fills the location data (City, State/Province, Country), so far so good
3. Export pict (Original with settings)

The resulting pict does not have the generated location data.
When I put a space after each location data field and press enter, then the exported file contains the location data.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this?

Hey, @peter vrijlandt. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you get started with this.

In Lightroom, by default, the GPS/location info is not included when you export images. Once you edit the photos, you can choose to keep the location info included in your exports in the Export As > More options > Location info.

I hope this helps. Thanks!

LS.,
Thanks for your answer.
I cannot find 'Export As>More Options>Location Info'.

I cannot see that option either. The export settings I see are "All Metadata" and "Copyright only".
