Question

Location isn’t showing on my exported photos on my iPhone

When I  export my photos from the Lightroom app the location isn’t showing on my iPhone but it is showing up on my Mac. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks 👍🏻

Thank you for your swift reply, I have to confess it isn’t showing on my Mac. I was clicking on a photo that I’ve taken originally for my phone and it hadn’t gone into Lightroom! So to clarify my location setting isn’t showing on the device.

I have already checked that the location is toggled across in Lightroom which it is and it still isn’t showing on either my devices 😐

Hi! This is usually the export setting, not the photo itself — Location Info is turned off by default when you save a copy to your device.

In Lightroom on your iPhone, tap the settings icon next to "Save copy to device", tap "More Options", and turn on the Location Info option, then save/export that photo again and check it in Photos.

Adobe's current export guide is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/mobile/share-save-and-export/export-photos-in-multiple-formats.html

If the location still doesn't show after re-exporting with that option on, let us know whether the original photo still shows its location inside Lightroom.
