Lost my folder and not saving any of my works

I have encountered this issue twice: when using the Lightroom Cloud-based folder, my folder somehow vanished. I checked my deleted items and my trash bin on my PC, and it did not show up; it is just gone. Also, it does not automatically save my photos. I was using Lightroom last night on my laptop and am now using the folder on my PC, and none of my stuff is saved. I have to redo everything again twice.

Were you using Lightroom in Local Mode or Cloud Mode?

 

Also do you have any filters applied that would cause the photos no to appear?

 

Although as you mention a Folder that has disappeared, the only way I think this can happen would be if it's manually deleted.

That sounds incredibly frustrating! It seems like there might be a sync issue between your Lightroom Cloud and local storage.
