LR is saying Hard drive is off line but it is not

My hard drive is connected. I can access it in Local at the top right, but LR says it is offline and won't sync or move photos. A little background - I had to reformat this drive because I was continually getting a message that it had not disconnected properly. Here are the steps I have taken in LR. I went into cache and rechose the drive. LR moved most of the photos but is now telling me that the disk is "offline." Is there a solution to this? Any help would be appreciated.

Mac OS: 14.5 (Sonoma)

Reformatting creates a 'new' drive as far as MacOS is concerned, and so Lightroom thinks that the old one is missing. As you can see in your screenshot, you can click 'Forget Volume' and then setup the 'new' drive for offline storage.
