LR mobile backup fails to recover pictures

Hi,

 

Not sure mine is an issue or just how LR works, but it is a pain for me.

 

I only use LR Mobile on my Samsung device.

 

The issue is just that I backed up all my smartphone data into my laptop because I did not want to lose anything when I'd send it to Samsung to have it repaired.

 

I got my phone back, it was reset to factory data. I transferred again all the backuped data onto the phone, logged into my Lightroom account and found almost nothing! 

 

I could only see few photos until 2020 and lost all the edits done afterwards.

 

So I have lost all my most important works.

 

Is this how it should work?

If you have a Lightroom mobile subscription, all of your images and presets should be safe and sound in the cloud, provided you were synced before sending your phone in for repairs. Signing in with the same Adobe ID should allow all of your data to resync to your device. 

If you were unsynced or not a subscriber, I would have to refer you to the process you used to back up your device. 

 

I will pass this info along to the team as well to see if they have additional suggestions.
