LR Mobile file size differences with import

If I transfer a LR mobile file directly from my Android phone via direct USB connection, I get a file size of about 23 mb. If I import the same file via PS home screen, I get a file size of about 9 mb. So far the only difference I can see is that the images imported via PS have Adobe PS Camera Raw as the application, whereas the one pulled directly from my phone states Adobe Lightroom. Can anyone tell me why there is the big difference in file size? I don't see any difference, and the pixel dimensions are the same. Thanks.
