Will Lightroom on iPad be able to detect objects and parts of the face etc with the new updates on Lightroom? My MacBook can do it but I can't on my ipad

These features are not currently implemented in Lightroom mobile, however, there is a workaround. You can use an advaptive portrait preset and it will automatically create masks for you. Then you can edit the image using those masks.

Tap on the preset icon. Choose Premium presets. Choose an adaptive portrait preset. Tap done and then check the mask panel. Like magic, a bunch of masks were created.

    The mobile version of Lightroom does not have the latest object and facial features detection that was introduced in the desktop versions (yet?).

    Thanks for the reply! Yes I've updated Lightroom I'm on v8.0. I'm looking for this portion attached. Where you can add to a mask for a specific portion like face skin,body skin, eyebrows, lips,teeth etc. 

    again my MacBook can do it but it makes it weird continueing my work from MacBook to iPad and I no longer have that feature
