Lr on iPad crashes when accessing searched items

IPad Pro 11 (2nd Generation) 128gb (56gb free) 

iOS 17.4.1 

Lightroom v9.2.2

1TB plan with 15% free cloud space

Since about 2 months ago (March 2024), when I search for certain items in "All photos" (e.g. "landscape" or "animal" or "car"), the app would show me the selection, but when I try to tap on any item to open it, it either freezes and doesn't respond to any other comand (without opening the required photo), or - most of the times - it simply crashes when trying to access any of the found photos. 

This happens to any search that returns more than 2000 items or so. It doesn't happen if the search returns around 1000 photos or less. 
But this was not the case before. It's a bug that appeared recently. 
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, hoping that it will solve the issue. But it didn't. 

I don't have the same issue on the iPhone (12), where I can open with no issue items from searches that return more than 10000 results. 

Please let me know how to solve this issue.
