Unfortunately, everything currently has to go through the Apple Photos app. This is restricted by Apple I believe.

    I do hope this will be added by Adobe in the near future.

      This has been added. I can import from the sd card, but Lightroom doesn't see the CF card in the camera.

      '. . . import'?  Import into where/what?

      Additionally: Without the USB connection you would need a wireless connection. Does your camera have that capability?
