LR / PS roundtrip layers not working, moving back to 3.4

Dear all, 

If anybody has a mac and during a LR/PS roundtrip the layers are not there anymore: Go back to 3.4. I just spent 2 hours with an Adobe tech trying to find the problem in 4.0. When going back to 3.4 the problem was solved,; layers are retaind again during a round trip. 

This is with LR 4.0 on Mac.
