Question

LR trying to sync metadata to 6 missing photos

Lightroom 7.1.2, MacOS 14.4

For several weeks LR continues to show 6 files syncronizing, but nothing shows if I click View. I have run the LR diagnostics and I see the 6 error assets: sync status = NeedsMetadataUploaded, filenames like this first one: _AZF197-HDR.dng, and Deleted = false. If I search in LR, I find these files without the -HDR ( _AZF197.dng ). I've tried deleting these six files (that match other than the -HDR ) delete from trash as well, but no change. I've tried reuploading them and editing them, no change. I've tried renaming the files to match with the -HDR in the name, but I still have the never-ending 6 files trying to sync. Any ideas on how to fix this or is there something Adobe can do from the backend?

You could try logging into http://lightroom.adobe.com/ and if they are showing in the Sync Issues tab on the left, delete them from there

That got my hopes up for a bit, I checked and there were 4 sync issues. I deleted those, emptied the deleted folder. Unfortunately this did not fix it, I still have 6 items syncing forever. At least I know one more place to check going forward if I have other sync issues. I wonder if Adobe support could fix this from the back end.

FYI no change in this problem with Lightroom 7.2
