See the answer from @kglad in this link-

The answer in particular-

It appears from this long thread that more and more, Adobe support staff are not willing to provide activation support for legacy software.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.4.1, Photoshop 27.8, ACR 18.4, Lightroom 9.4, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

that thread should not have been lengthy.  the "length" was caused by an ex-adobe employee confounding enterprise subscriptions with individual subscriptions.

for individual subscriptions, adobe support (for now) will reset activation counts for cs5,cs5.5 and cs6 (including lr 6).

for the op, the only place you might be able to deactivate yourself would be from the account used to purchase and/or register your lr6, https://account.adobe.com

otherwise, using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

click contact us (= cryptic icon in the lower right)
