lightroom cc not shwoing star ratings from lightroom classic

What is likely is that you aren't saving Metadata to Files in Classic prior to attempting to open them in LrD. 
Are you saving the metadata from the LrC Catalog to the files or do you have Autowrite XMP Turned On?

i think I just discovered the Lightroom browser doesnt pick up the Lightroom Classic edited files, just the unedited, that explains why there are no star rated photos in my Lightroom folders.
