MacBook or iPad Pro?

Looking to upgrade to either a MacBook or the new iPad Pro, I have Lightroom CC just on my iPhone, I'm just wondering if there's much difference between the app on MacBook and iPad? Does the MacBook have more tools or are they pretty similar? Thanks
