Mask overlay disappears and cannot get it back (Win 11 v8.5.1)...

Windows 11 Professional (pre & post Win 11 OS 25H2 update)

Nature of issue is diffcult to produce steps to reproduce consistently, however, impact of issue causing a lot of time lost due to repeating masking actions.

Randomly seeing mask overlay disappear when doing complex adding/removing of masks, zooming in & out, etc..  After it disappears, switching overlay on/off, changing overlay color, opaque setting, affected or unaffected area settings doesn't bring it back.

Usually have to delete mask and start a new one OR guess where to apply remaining edits by changing mask settings in light/color/etc..  Former workaround can waste hours of time when editing across a series of images. Latter results in poorer quality editing tool capabilities which often lead to starting over.
