Massive colour shift between Classic and CC?

I am just switching over from using a Macbook and Lightroom Classic to using an Ipad and CC for field work.  However, I am seeing a huge difference in colour between the same synched files between the iPad and desktop.  When I compare the same images in CC and Classic I can see the same difference. What is going on there?

CC on the desktop matches the iPad, but Classic looks very different. All my presets and general workflows are built around Classic - so not sure how to best approach this.  CC is missing some key tools that I use often, so the plan had been to use both versions moving forward, but with this much colour difference I don't see how I can.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brett

Hi Mohit - thank you for the reply.

I ended up on a support chat last night and zeroed in on the problem. It was a Profile difference because I was using Lightroom V6 on the desktop and it was limited to the "beta" profile and the images were assigned the Adobe Standard in the Ipad app. As the Creative Cloud app showed me as up-to-date I didn't realize I was behind a whole version.

So - once I switched to V7 and resynched everything matched up okay.

    Hi BrettSimms,

We're really sorry for the hassle. Are you adding images into Lightroom Classic CC initially and then syncing those files over to Lightroom CC on iPad? When did you last calibrate your monitor profile to defaults?

You may try calibrate the desktop monitor profile back to defaults and check if that helps. Refer: macOS Sierra: Calibrate your display
