Question

Migrate from Lightroom CC to Lightroom Classic CC

Hi

I currently have the Lightroom subscription which includes 1TB of cloud storage, of which I use approximately 160 GB. I would like to switch back to Lightroom Classic. I do not expect migrating back to be much of an issue, as I can just sync Lightroom Classic with the Creative Cloud storage. However, the Lightroom Classic subscription only includes 20 GB of storage. Once I switch my subscription to Lightroom Classic, will I still have the chance to download my photos from the server to Lightroom Classic?

Thanks for your help

You can export all images from Lightroom as 'original + settings'. Then import those in Lightroom Classic after you changed your plan.

You may not, but what you can try is the following. While you still have the Lightroom + 1TB subscription, download and install a trial copy of Lightroom Classic. Create a new catalog and enable sync (I hope that works with a trial copy). Lightroom Classic should now download all 160 GB of photos from the cloud. Once that is done you could ask Adobe to change your subscription to the Photography plan with 20 GB.
