Migrated to Lightroom, how can I delete locally stored copies?

Because I mainly use lightroom for editing, I decided to migrate from lightroom classic. This worked successfully. I would like to now delete the locally stored copies of the photos throgh lightroom classic from the disk. This automatically also deletes the photo from lightroom though. 

I would like the following setup: store all raw files in the adobe cloud and edit in lightroom. have lightroom classic sync all photos so that I can also edit some photos occasionally via Lightroom classic (for the use of plugins). I do not want all files saved in the cloud and on my macbook. The original idea was to make space on my macbook by having files saved in the cloud and not on my disk. 

Is this at all possible?
