Migrating from Classic to CC stuck at 55%

I decided to take the plunge and covert my Classic CC collection to CC.

I upgraded my subscription to the 2TB tier, and followed the migration instructions.

My upgrade has been stuck at 55%, running for about 12 hours.

I can see from the file dates in the local location that the last update to a file was now near 4 hours ago.

My collection is about 1.4TB, stored on a NAS.

I set the local copy to be stored on a 2TB SSD (I wish LR would just leave the originals where they were).

If I kill LR and restart it, will the import resume?

If the import does not resume, will I be able to import the same catalog again?

This is getting ridiculous, I get home after work, and still syncing, but process explorer shows no IO.

I open the LR web view, and not a single image has been uploaded.

I restart LR, and now I can see network IO.

    Not impressed.

Not a good answer, but in case it helps others, just keep restarting LR periodically.

6 Hours later and still 55%, and still no more files copies locally.

I looked using sysinternals process explorer, and there is no IO being performed by the LR process, 0 bytes disk and 0 bytes memory.

When I try to close LR, it says it is migrating assets, when I cancel the close, still IO.

When I did quit, I got an this migration failed error, try again, if that fails, contact support.

I relaunched LR, and it asked if I want to resume the migration, I said yes.

After some initializing, the process resumed, and I can see files are again getting copied, now at 66%.

In process explorer I can now see several other processes:

    lightroomcc.exe -> lightroomcchelper.exe -> conhost.exe, dynamiclinkmanager.exe -> dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe

I assume that when the import stopped one or all of child worker processes crashed.

I'll compare the image count when done and make sure it matches, and then hope no corruption occurred.

Migration completed this morning, and the image count between CC and Classic CC match.

Upload is now in progress, I have no idea what the progress is, I can't find anywhere to show progress complete, just status.

One thing I did notice is that I now have thousands of images with "no date".

I am meticulous in LR Classic to make sure all my images have the correct date in LR.

I double checked a couple images with no date in CC, and compared to Classic CC, the same images in Classic do show a date in the metadata.

I saw a couple posts with similar reports, some say once uploaded the date will come back, I hope.
