Migration Disk Space Issue Classic to 6.5

Just made the switch from Classic to 6.5.  When I try to migrate my catalogs in it says "insufficient disk space please clear 1.6gb".  The problem is I've cleared somewhere around 300gb but it's still giving me the same error.  What should I do?  I've tried restarting my computer/lightroom but nothing works.
