Migration error

Hi,

I try to migrate my library to new Lightroom CC.

After a moment ("checking paths...") , there's an error message that appears and warn about an unknown error.

What I have done so far :

- Selected photos or videos with another metadata status than OK and apply "write metadata to the disk". But there's still some videos are marked as Metadata in conflict.

- Asked Lightroom to Search for missing photos ==> No missing photos

- Reopened Lightroom Classic and Optimized Catalog in Lightroom Classic, then closed Lightroom Classic

Can you please tell me what to do to fix this ?

Please find below the log file.

Hi - I had a similar issue, and none of the suggested fixes/workarounds I could find on the web, nor with Adobe  tech support could resolve my instance of this issue.

What eventually worked for me, and which hopefully will help others who have a similar problem is this:  in Lightroom classic, simply export your entire catalog to a new catalog, and migrate that new catalog to Lightroom CC.  This effectively rebuilds your catalogue from scratch, maintaining all your metadata etc but fixing whatever minor corruption that was causing the migration to hang.  Secondary tip is to export your lightroom classic catalogue into several sub-catalogues and importing those.  This helps disk space issues with very large catalogues.
