Migration of Catalog via LR6 - LR Classic- LightroomCC

I have been running the migration process for nearly 10 hours now and my catalog of 9800 images is stuck on 74% completion and is moving at 1.5% per hour which means its going to take another 12 hours for complete.

Is this normal as it seems my processor is running at a very low speed and other applications are being seriously effected.

What do I do, is this a common problem and is there a fix for this.
