Migration question

I migrated a catalog from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom CC, then for several months I kept using both. In some cases I imported photos into CC, and in other cases I imported into Classic.

I want now to move completely away from Classic and uninstall it (at least in principle) and use only CC. I see in CC that some photos are labeled as synced with Classic and that I have only previews in the cloud and in CC. How do I move those originals into the cloud to sync with CC (as if I had imported into CC in the first place), and how would I do it for a large number of photos? I'm guessing I need to create a new Classic catalog and migrate it, but not sure if I am correct or how to do it. Thanks.

The short answer is that you can over-write Smart Previews in the Cloud (that have been synced from Classic) by importing the Originals via Lightroom CC Desktop.

Maybe test one out so you are happy with the process.

Thanks very much. Much less complicated than I was expecting.
