Question

Misalignment in file name/extension between photogrid and detail views

I'm usually shooting both Jpeg and raw format so I have with the same filename both pic extensions RAF (Fuji) and JPG.

When I see the pic in the grid format and I try to open the JPG is showing and I click on info is showing the RAF Instead and viceversa.

This must be a bug. Isn't it?

Hey, @marcello61bg. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll clarify this for you.

This is expected behavior when you shoot JPEG+RAW in your Camera, as Lightroom Classic, by default, treats these JPEGs as preview files for the RAW images.

To change this behavior, you can go to Lightroom Classic > Preferences > General > Enable 'Treat JPEG Files next to RAW files as separate photos'. Head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/4bg25zH

Let me know if it helps. Thanks!
