Missing Photos on Lr Mobile (free version)

I just turned on my Lighroom app (free version) on my iphone, saw my photos for 5 seconds and then the app 'crashed', I went back into the app and all my photos have disappeared! Please help, these photos are for an assigment I have for University. Does anyone know how I might be able to recover the photos?
