Question

Missing Selective Edit option on my Samsung mobile

Has anyone had this problem? I pay the subscription to Lightroom Mobile and was sure I had this option at the beginning but it has been removed...it's not under Masking or any other tab. I've installed and reinstalled the app and it still hasn't come back. Any ideas?

Selective edits are what is now called masking, but it works differenly. You create a new mask, and get all the options when you do so. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/masking-mobile-android.html

Thank you for replying? I'm a little confused...I was previously able to sharpen eyes, whiten teeth, smooth hair, soften skin I don't have any of these options now? Or am I not looking in the right place...

I don't have an Android device, but it sounds like perhaps you are confused with the desktop version (Lightroom Classic)? Lightroom Classic has local adjustment presets, so you can select the teeth with a mask and then use a preset that brightens the teeth. I am not sure if Lightroom mobile for Android ever had these kind of presets.

You can still do this however. Create a new mask and use the brush to brush over the teeth. If you brush with a slight Exposure correction (say +0.5) then that will brighten the brushed area, so it brightens the teeth.
