I want to move the Lightroom library file to a folder other than 'Pictures'. I can set the preferences, but Lightroom always re-creates the folder in the 'Pictures' folder. What I have to do?
You cannot change the folder. Lightroom is hardwired to store the Lightroom Library in your Pictures folder. You can set where you want to store a copy of the originals (if you do want to store a local copy) in the preferences, but not where the Library is stored.
