Move photos from iPhone to LR (recent problem after last update)

All of a sudden the import from my iphone 13 pro max to LR mobile is taking a very long time (over 10 minutes for one photo). This is very recent. It even worked a couple of days ago. I am on an iphone 13 pro max and LR v.8.5 D352DE/107. I am on Wifi and it is very fast.
