Move single photo from CC to Classic

Question #1

How can I move a single photo (or selected photos) from Lightroom CC (on my iPad) to Lightroom Classic (on my desktop)?

Here's what I want to do:   While traveling, I want to take photos, then transfer them via the camera's wifi capacity,  to my iPad and edit them in Lightroom CC.  Then, when I return home, I want them to be in Lightroom Classic on my desktop computer.

Question #2

Was Lightroom CC meant to replace Lightroom mobile?  Can I use Lightroom CC seamlessly with Lightroom Classic or are the two meant to be used independently of each other.

Q1 simply turn on sync in LR Classic and all your originals in the cloud will be automatically downloaded into LR Classic. You can specify a folder in LR Classic Preferences. Any editing you may have done on the iPad will also show up in LR Classic.

Q2 LRCC is a cloud based eco system e.g. mobile devices, web app and desktop app all under the LRCC name. The desktop version presently lacks many of the features of LR Classic, so stick with that and your iPad if that works for you. You may want to wait until you get home from your travels to add keywords, captions or other metadata as there is no sync for those things between LRCC & LR Classic.

Think of it as Lightroom Mobile, but on your a laptop or desktop computer.

They are not meant to be used together seamlessly.
