My catalog is missing

Hi, firstly i am rubbish on my macbook. i only use it for photos. since upgrading LR my catalog is not working and i dont know how to fix on mac, i try to follow the instruction but i dont know my way around mac, any help would be grateful. thank you

Can you provide some more information like what version of Lightroom (assume Classic) and what Mac OS you are using?
