Question

My Lightroom files are having problems syncing!

Hello,

A few quick things to note before I start. I am on Mac OS, I'm currently using Lightroom Classic CC and I store my catalogs on an external 2TB hard drive.

I am trying to sync my files to the adobe cloud so I can integrate the new Lightroom CC and Lightroom mobile into my workflow. When I try and do this however, I encounter a few problems. The first is it is extremely slow! I am wondering if there is anything I can do to speed this is up as I have also uploaded files to the google cloud before and its never been anywhere near this slow. The next problem is that when I go to the Lightroom tab, (on the Mac menu bar) preferences, Lightroom sync then sync activity, In the Sync Details / Error bar I get the word metadata next to over 90% of my photo files. I think this Is causing only certain files to be synced into the cloud as when I go into Lightroom CC only certain random photos appear. The third problem is that since all this started to happen my files have completely stopped syncing after only syncing 19 photos. A similar thing happened before and then I was told to created a new catalogue (my current one), import all my photo files in and move them into new folders. This wasn't long ago and this was my first time syncing since that problem. Please help as this problem is driving me nuts!

Many thanks,

Jonny
