Question

My Lightroom uploads aren't showing up in Synced Files online?

Hello, I'm finally switching from the old school way of external hard drives and Lightroom Classic, and am trying to migrate to this cloud-based Lightroom with all my photos on the Cloud. I am using a MacBook Pro. I added a small folder of photos from my external hard drive to Lightroom and they're all in the app and taking up 15GB of my Creative Cloud storage - however I can't see them when I click on "Synced Files" in my Creative Cloud account online. In fact, I can't see anything at all online except for the files I drag-and-dropped into the Creative Cloud Sync folder on my drive. I want them easily accessible and organized here so that I can quickly download everything in the event of a hard drive failure. I'm okay with just using this drag and drop method if I must, but the issue is that when I then add those to Lightroom, it seems to upload them to the cloud all over again. So I'm getting 2 copies of everything uploaded into the cloud, 1 copy for my Synced Files in the Cloud and 1 for Lightroom. What am I doing wrong here? Shouldn't this stuff communicate with each other? I don't need 2 copies of every file in the Cloud when I already have 2.5TB of photos to upload as it is. Help!

Lightroom's Cloud Storage is separate from the Creative Cloud Files and is located here:

They both use space from your overall Creative Cloud quota though.
